While many people protested against the detention of A $ AP Rocky in Sweden on social media (including President Donald Trump), a woman took the #FreeRocky hashtag on Twitter and at the Swedish Embbady in Washington.
According to Billboard, Rebecca Kanter was arrested last Tuesday for causing a concussion at the embbady. Katner allegedly trampled furniture, shouted to the staff and threatened to "blow up that bastard". The day before her arrest, she also allegedly sprayed the Embbady door with liquid in a bottle of Coca-Cola and informed her of the media event. She was charged with two counts of illegal entry and intentional damage to the property of a foreign government.
$ AP Rocky has been imprisoned in Sweden since his arrest on July 3rd. Last week, the rapper was formally charged with badault. If he is found guilty, he could spend up to two years in prison or pay a hefty fine. He and two of his friends, who were also arrested, are expected to be tried soon.
