The Chronic Dev Team has released an updated version of its Greenpois0n utility that lets you jailbreak your favorite iOS devices on iOS 4.2.1. The good news of this new version is that the utility will perform an unbadigned jailbreak, which means you can restart the device without having to connect it to your computer.
This version is new and I have not tested it myself, but from what I hear, there may be some problems with this utility, so it is better to wait a bit before 'use.
Greenpois0n is currently only available on Macs and is not recommended for people who have unlocked or want to unlock iDevices.
