The first female Speaker of the US House of Representatives, who heads a congressional delegation to Ghana, has arrived in Ghana.
Nancy Pelosi and her delegation landed at Terminal 3 on Sunday afternoon and were greeted by US Ambbadador to Ghana Stephanie S. Sullivan and Parliament Speaker Mike Aaron Ocquaye.
Some members of Parliament, as well as other dignitaries, were also at the Kotoka International Airport to greet the President of the United States.

During her stay in Ghana, President Pelosi and her delegation will pay tribute to the castles of Cape Coast and Elmina.
At Cape Coast Castle, they will travel to the 'Door of No Return' to observe the 400th anniversary of the first landing of enslaved Africans in America.
"In the face of evolving global security challenges, our delegation will thank the men and women in uniform and will receive briefings from US military leaders at the US Army headquarters for Africa," said the President. Pelosi before his visit to Africa.
