The prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, the chief prophet of the Glorious Wave International Church, has been criticized by social media users after his bizarre comments on the temperament of Ghanaian women in marriage.

The pastor, in what appears to be a sermon, makes statements about the personalities and attitudes of women from three Ghanaian tribes that he would have collected after years of research.

He was shocked to claim that women of the Ashanti tribe are selfish and embarrbading, that Fanti women are stupid and that Ewe women are too docile in marriage.

"When you marry an Ashanti lady, huh, you've imported problems … I'm telling you the truth.

"I have been researching over the years, Ashanti woman!" Although the Fanti ladies are sometimes stupid but Ashanti no.

"Ayigbe women (Ewe) are too portable, but Ashanti has red eyes, looking for goods, looking for items to bring in. Their mother is around and influences everything."

Social media users have not appreciated what they call "tribal comments".

An Instagram user with the name montclair_kollections wrote on the biblical road: "We will know them by their words" while marianybad prayed for his forgiveness: "Ooooh, may God forgive this pastor".

Others felt that there was an element of truth in his comments, although they questioned his relevance for his sermon.

"Although, I'm not in favor of where he preached it." He told the truth, "posted a user on Instagram with the name thodeedreydrey.

Another user, yaw_guy10, said the pastor commented on social media comments.

He posted: The same insane Fante women and the ashanting red-eyed women of his church pay tithing, sow the seeds and offer you offerings …… Rejecting their money ?? I'm sure he just wants to follow the keke trend. "
