Abdul Hanan Gundadow
Alhaji Abdul Hanan Gundadow, candidate for the parliament of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), decided to retain the headquarters of Tamale Central and discredit President Nana Ado Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2020.
He is optimistic about the party's candidacy for elections and thinks that his gains will embarrbad the current president in the 2020 polls because he will never have the opportunity to become commander-in-chief of the Ghana Armed Forces.
Addressing MyNewsGh.com after vetting last Friday, he unveiled his vision of the constituency highlighting the need for the region to consolidate the party's achievements by 2020.
"My mission is to keep the NDC headquarters and help John Mahama to embarrbad Nana Akufo-Addo, who will be denied on the occasion of a second term. Our return to power will lead to a wave of prosperity in the riding through skills training for youth and women's economic empowerment. This will allow Tamale to continue to enjoy its ultimate destination position for the northern peoples, "he said.
Regarding the objectives of the NDC in the event of success in the 2020 polls, he said: "The NDC must also continue the development of its infrastructure by providing roads and other equipment necessary for job creation and the economic development of the region. I would also like to help the NDC government use ICTs as a tool for providing skills and creating jobs. "
Three people, including the former Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Ibrahim Mohammed Murtala, and another who challenged outgoing President Alhaji Inusah Fuseini to the party's parliament in 2015, but who have lost have been successful.
