The two largest Korean automakers are approaching another major milestone.
From now on next year, Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors … should have sold 100 million vehicles abroad.
They said Monday that they were about 92 million now.
It's been 45 years since they started exporting.
And this growth is due to the growing number of factories installed abroad, which now counts 20 plants in 13 countries.
The first country to which they exported was Qatar, in 1975.
