REUTERS: The United States recorded 16 new cases of measles last week, bringing the total number of cases for the year to 1,164 in the worst epidemic since 1992, health officials said Monday.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported a 1.4% increase in cases of this highly contagious and sometimes deadly disease in 30 states by 25 July.
