Cristiano Ronaldo admits that he is missing Real Madrid's life – more than Manchester United.
Ronaldo ended his nine-year stay at Real Madrid last summer by completing his transfer to Juventus.
The Portuguese helped his team win the Serie A title in their first campaign and hopes to be more successful next season.
Ronaldo is still remembered in the Spanish capital and he returned to Madrid on Monday to receive the MARCA Legend Award.
The prestigious award created by the Spanish newspaper has been awarded to such personalities as Lionel Messi, Usain Bolt and Muhammad Ali over the years.
At the reception of this award, Ronaldo said: "This is one of the most beautiful cities in the world
"I travel a lot, but I have not seen many cities like Madrid, I hope to return to Madrid as soon as possible because it is a city I love."
Ronaldo, who was congratulated by Real Madrid leader Florentino Perez, was interviewed by young children during the event. He was asked if he was missing more Real or Manchester United.
"I miss both of them, but I spent more time at Real Madrid and my family grew up here, so I miss Real Madrid more," he added.
"It was not easy to leave Real Madrid after nine years."
Ronaldo became the only player to win the Liga, Serie A and Premier League with the Juventus title last season.
He also finished the campaign with international glory as Portugal claimed the first UEFA Nations League.
