The fight to save the seas from plastic waste can mean the end of the mini bottles of shampoo and other toiletries that hotel guests like to stuff into their luggage. The owner of the Holiday Inn and InterContinental Hotels said Tuesday that its nearly 843,000 rooms were moving to bulk toiletries as part of an effort to reduce waste. The transition should end in 2021.
