Everton abandoned his quest for winger Crystal Palace Wilfried Zaha. Marco Silva would be concerned about the high price of the Eagles.
Palace has refused an opening offer from Everton worth about £ 55 million and has always been adamant that a club must meet the asking price of 80 million of books he wants to separate from Zaha.
The Daily Mail said that Everton did not want to offer such a figure. So they pulled out of the race to sign. Silva remains desperate to add a new winger to his team, but not for the kind of money that Palace is looking for.
Unconfirmed information revealed that the Toffees had increased their offer to 55 million pounds plus James McCarthy and Cenk Tosun, but such an exchange agreement now seems dead in the water.
However, it is thought that Palace wants a separate £ 10m contract for McCarthy, while he is also willing to lend Tosun on loan, but none of these negotiations will have anything to do with Zaha.
After selling respectively Ademola Lookman and Idrissa Gueye to RB Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain, the Toffees have a considerable sum to sign reinforcements of attack.
Moise Kean, the star of Juventus, has already made an agreement with Silva, but Silva also remains eager to find a new winger before closing the transfer office on August 8th.
Along with his search for a broad man, Silva still wants four dedications. Mainz midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin is considered a potential substitute for Gueye, as are Celta Vigo's Stanislav Lobotka and Southampton's Mario Lemina.
In defense, the attempts of Diego Llorente (Real Sociedad) and Fikayo Tomori (Chelsea) are both considered by Everton, who is determined to make a real push towards qualifying for the Europa League last season.
They finished eighth in the Premier League last season, although they often missed an attack. Silva wants to make sure his team does not have the same problems last season. The last days of the transfer window so announce charged for the Toffees.
