According to Meu Timão, who covers the news of the Corinthians of Brazil, Luigi Gaspar, son of Edu, will leave the São Paulo team to join the Arsenal Academy.
Aged 15, who represents Corinthians since the age of 8, he signed a first contract with the club a year ago, but will terminate the deal so that he can join his father in London.

Since he has not yet signed a professional contract, no fees will be involved. That being said, apparently, FIFA's rules state that Corinthians will be entitled to 1% of any future transfer.
In a message posted on Instagram, the young man wrote, "Well, I can say today that it is one of the most difficult days of my life and the most difficult decision that I've never taken … I do not even know where to start writing this message. but go!
"Today, I am here to inform you of my departure from SC Corinthians, where I was a club where I was raised as a person and as a man, where I spent most of my time in my life, totally dedicated to the club! It's 8 years of my life wearing this cape!
"So, today, I'm here to inform everyone that this will be my last day as an athlete of this wonderful club, I will not say the last because I'm sure I'll always have the doors open here! "
We do not know if Luigi is considered a serious prospect or not. We suspect that this is more of a case of the Gaspar family unit. Which is fair enough, really. Good luck to him in London.
