Born October 4, 1982, she is currently the United States Representative for the 5th Congressional District of Minnesota.

YEN.com.gh believes she is the first American of Somali origin, the first Africanized naturalized citizen, the first non-white woman elected from Minnesota and one of the first two Muslim women (with Rashida Tlaib of Michigan) to sit in Congress.

Omar has been a strong advocate for affordable housing, universal health, debt cancellation related to student loans, and the abolition of the abolition of immigration to the United States. United States (ICE).

Omar has consistently criticized Israel and denounced its settlement policy and military campaigns in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Meanwhile, four men, despite their disability, took on roles as construction workers and derive their livelihood.

One of them, Kwasi, who has twisted fingers in his left hand, tells his story as sweat falls on his face.

"I do not see myself disabled, I can not beg" He defiantly declares that he is working in Amasaman, a suburb of Accra.

A few meters behind him, Michael was standing firmly on one leg.
