Nigerian-based Ghanaian comedian Hogan said Beyoncé must thank Africa for helping her stay afloat.
According to Hogan, many Africans like him did not like the music of the American singer, but they were forced to listen to him, "The Lion King"; The Gift 'because of the inclusion of African talents.
Reacting to Beyoncé's buzz and Shatta Wale's song "Déjà", Hogan pointed out that the American musician would benefit from more mileage than the one presented by Africans.
"Africans, we help people by raising them. NOTI'm listening because Shatta Wale Wizkid and other Africans are on the Lion King album. We raise Beyoncé with our brands, "he said in" The Gist "with MzGee of Joynews.
He added that the Africans presented elevated Beyoncé's brand beyond their own. Arguing that most Americans will not listen to African music as Africans do theirs.
"No matter how you do it, there is no way that an African artist will tend or Americans listen to our music, they will just listen to it once and jump." Trust me, but Beyoncé will now be heard more often here, "he said.
