Residents of Anomabo in the Central Region benefited from free medical services provided by Ghana Medical Relief (GMR).
GMR, made up of doctors and volunteers from Ghana and the United States of America, embarked on the health exercise to offer various health services.
Services provided for four free days include pediatric, urology, general health, dental, gynecology and obstetrics services.

More than 3000 residents of Anomabo took part in the exercise. According to Dr. Samuel Kwapong Owusu, GMR's doctor and president, the number of cases of fibroids identified in the screening of women has caused great concern.
He took this opportunity to urge community members, especially women, to undergo regular medical checks.
