Amewu for the Hohoe parliamentary seat – Declaration of the Agenda for Development

A group called Agenda for Development in the Hohoe district of the Volta region has declared its unwavering support for Energy Minister John Peter Amewu's candidacy as MP for this constituency. .

According to them, Amewu is the most qualified candidate for the role and they will do everything to make this dream come true.

At a press conference, George Dogboe, head of the group, recently said that "the Agenda for Development had tested the pulse of the mbades and had objectively badessed the odds Mr. Amewu for the parliamentary seat of the Hohoe constituency ", and realized that Mr. Amewu is competent and capable of running the constituency".

He explained that Mr. Amewu had proven himself as a hard worker and that it was time for Mr. Amewu to have the opportunity to introduce the development he so badly needed in his riding.

"The name Johnny is synonymous with development and in Hohoe now, when people want to talk about development, they say Johnny," he noted.

Mr Dogboe therefore called on people in Hohoe, the Volta region and beyond, to "be part of the big development agenda".

He said that in recognition of Mr. Amewu's good deeds, ordinary citizens in the constituency mobilized resources to choose an application form that would allow him to run for Hohoe's seat in the 2020 legislative elections.

Agenda for Development is made up of merchants, taxi drivers, craftsmen, farmers, okada riders and carpenters. They belong to five traditional regions of the constituency, namely Wli, Gbledi, Alavanyo, Gbi and Fodome.
