FBNBank Ghana has launched the third edition of its "Save and Win" promotion to strengthen the culture of saving among Ghanaians.
The promotion, valid for a three-month period from 31 July to 31 October 2019, also aims to reward loyal clients of the bank and broaden the bank's customer base by connecting to the unbanked population.
The promo will have monthly draws and an ultimate draw that will take place at the end of October. There are several prizes to be won, including trips to Dubai and South Africa, a weekend at the Royal Senchi and home appliances, among others.
Speaking at the launch of the promotion at the Swan Mill branch of the bank in Accra, Victor Asante, chief executive of the bank, stressed the need for Ghanaians to cultivate a positive savings culture for secure a prosperous future. The promotion is open to all individual customers of the bank with an existing individual account and / or savings account and to new customers able to comply with the terms and conditions of the "Save and Win" promotion. To ensure fairness and transparency, FBNBank will work with the National Lottery Authority (NLA) via its Caritas platform to select the winners of the promotion.
Mechanical Promo
The promotional mechanisms are such that, in order to be registered, customers must make a deposit of GH ¢ 200.00 (and / or multiples thereof) on an existing individual savings account / account or new. Each deposit of 200 ¢ GH ¢ gives a customer 1 point.
All customers who, at the beginning of the promotion, have a minimum balance of GH ¢ 1,000.00 in their account will earn 1 point for 1,000 GH ¢ in the form of "advance points", up to a maximum of 10 points. Advance points will only be earned progressively as long as the customer has made deposits to the account during the promotion period. To participate in the monthly draw or draw, customers must keep a minimum of GH ¢ 1,000.00 in their individual checking account / savings account.
