Her husband, the prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, founder and leader of Glorious Wave Church International, made disparaging remarks against Asante women in a recent video. Badu Kobi suggested that asante women are greedy, that fante women are stupid and that women ews are like doormats.
According to Mama Gloria, Ghanaians do not really understand the behavior of her husband, the prophet Badu Kobi. Mama Gloria stated that her husband was not only a normal human being, but that he was embodied in the spirit of God. She added that she was really surprised at some things her husband was saying because she was used to it.
Mama Gloria also explained that they had many problems early in their marriage. At one point, her family advised her to leave her husband, but she stayed there and supported him.
She also talked about the death of their son, among other things.
