SAjid Javid doubled the funding granted without agreement to the preparations for "turbo charges" during his first week as Chancellor.
Mr Javid has announced additional spending of £ 2.1 billion for this year, adding to the £ 2.1 billion reserved for Brexit. The new money will be financed from Philip Hammond's 26.6 billion pound repertoire.
The Chancellor said: "We want a good deal that removes the undemocratic system, but if we can not get a good deal, we will have to do without it.
"This additional £ 2.1 billion will guarantee that we are ready to leave on October 31 – agreement or not."
