opening of the first phase of the World Bank African Caucus meeting and
Governors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Accra.

Beyond aid: institutional capacity building and innovative financing of
Sustainable growth. "

The African caucus was created in 1963,
referred to as the "African Group", with the aim of strengthening the voice of
African Governors in the Bretton Woods Institutions – IMF and World Bank
Group on development issues of particular interest to Africa.
