When Amazon released the Dash buttons in 2015, they were used for something else, but they are now quite easily filled with other products and services. Smart devices were not so ubiquitous at the time. Many of us have one now and it is too easy to just ask Alexa to send us something from Amazon. As such, we do not really need buttons to instantly control drinks such as instant coffee, toilet paper, underwear, popcorn or razors.
