The Duke and Duchess have already been the subject of criticism last month after the newly released royal file revealed that the couple had spent 2.5 million pounds of taxpayers' money for renovation from their home in Windsor, Frogmore Cottage.
However, Meghan would not be the first member of the royal family to deal with political issues, as Prince Charles was previously accused of undermining his position because of his interest in politics.

Meghan and Harry have more than a few weeks to officially launch their "environmental and community initiative" after separating their charitable activities from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
