Kwame Asare Obeng, known in public circles as A Plus, reveals that he knows the mechanisms of the alleged fraudulent deal on Power Distribution Services (PDS).

Earlier this week, the government through the Ministry of Finance and the Ghana Electricity Corporation (ECG) Limited suspended the concession agreement with Power Distribution Services (PDS) Ghana Limited with immediate effect.
A statement by Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah revealed that this decision follows the discovery of fundamental and substantial breaches of the PDS obligation when providing payment guarantees (on-demand guarantees) for transaction, which was discovered during subsequent checks. On-demand collateral was an essential prerequisite for leasing badets on March 1, 2019 to secure the badets transferred to the concessionaire.
