Ace Ankomah sued social media commentator Kevin Taylor for defamation

Ace Anan Ankomah, a renowned jurist, has sued social commentator Kevin Ekow Baidoo Taylor, accusing him of defamation.

The lawyer sued Taylor and his law firm, Loud Silence Media, and claims $ 10 million in damages.

Ace Ankomah is represented by Thaddeus Sory. Counsel stated that Mr. Taylor made false statements against his client.

According to him, the social commentator "has damaged his hard-earned reputation: hatred, ridicule, obloquy, discredit, contempt, defamation, reproach".

This, Mr. Sory said, caused Mr. Ankomah "great distress and emotional trauma".

He also wants the High Court to prevent the defendant from continuing to publish other defamatory remarks against his client.

This comes after Taylor mentioned Ace Ankomah as one of the people who allegedly sabotaged Menzgold's CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah.

According to him, the renowned lawyer was first contacted by Horizon Royal Diamonds when the Dubai company came to Ghana to file a complaint against those who had defrauded them.

Ace Ankomah always knew that NAM1 was not a fraudster, but was in agreement with Dr. KK Amoah to deceive the issue, ultimately preventing the Dubai company from including NAM1 in its list of suspects .
