The new Derived Walking Dead series is about to begin filming in Virginia with a huge crash of the plane.
This new series marks the third series in the universe of The Walking Dead, centered on two female protagonists of the first generation at the apogee of the apocalypse.
The production crews are preparing to start shooting for the show in Hopewell, Virginia, under the title Monument, with a local report showing debris from a plane crash carried around the plateau.
The report indicates that crew members were seen moving a 737 fuselage for a plane crash scene.
Shooting is scheduled for the night of July 7-13th August in the region, directed by Kong: Jordan Vogt-Roberts, of Skull Island.
A trailer has recently been released for the series, showing Aliyah Royale (performer Iris), Annet Mahendru (Huck), Alexa Mansour (Hope), Nicolas Cantu (Elton) and Hal Cumpston (Silas).
Walking Dead writer and producer Matt Negrete plays the role of showrunner in the series, which was co-created by franchise content manager Scott Gimple.
Gimple, teasing the show at Comic-Con, said, "These kids can grow up in a place of comfort and safety, but they leave everything in a dangerous pursuit and are pursued alone by adults.
"We will see children become heroes and some bad guys. We will open a whole new world at The Walking Dead. "
The show will join the main show The Walking Dead, which begins its tenth season later this year, and Fear The Walking Dead, which is currently in its fifth season.
The untitled spin-offs of The Walking Dead are published in Spring 2020.
