Joe Longthorne, singer and impressionist, died at the age of 64 in his Blackpool home.

Longthorne, originally from Hull, first made his name on TV in search of ITV, in 1981, before presenting his own television program, The Joe Longthorne Show.
He was diagnosed with blood cancer lymphoma in 1989, his career was ascending. "Cancer is not a word that we expect to hear when everything is going so well," he said later. "I felt invincible and suddenly I felt helpless. I had two choices: give in or fight. I chose the last one. I got up, dusted myself off and continued to live.
After his recovery, he toured the world and performed sold-out shows in the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia in the 1990s, and sang several times at the Royal Variety Show.
He received a bone marrow transplant in 2006 after being diagnosed with leukemia. However, he almost died during the operation and was entrusted to the last sacraments by a priest.
In 2012, he received an MBE for charity work, after raising funds for organizations such as Cancer Research UK, the Variety Club of Great Britain and the Center for Child and Female Development in Nepal. He described the prize as "an unexpected honor".
He had planned future performances.
