Brooke Forde finished first after the flight in 1: 02.39, about half a second ahead of Madisyn Cox. Forde is still leading with 150 points, but Emma Weyant started to progress and eventually overtake Forde at the turn of 200 meters, reversing in 2: 13.50, 7/10 ahead of Forde. Weyant was still leading at 250 meters, but Forde had halved it. Forde shot .12 ahead of Weyan at 300 yards in 3: 32.58, but Weyant pbaded him by a measly .08 at 350 yards. Forde and Weyant were side by side on the last run, but Weyant crossed the final 50 meters to reach the first goal in 4: 35.47, scoring the world's fifth fastest time this year.
