Dancehall act Stonebwoy recorded a song with legendary Jamaican reggae music star Buju Banton.
Stonebwoy met the legend of reggae music during a performance given at the Afro Nation festival in Faro, Portugal on Thursday.
While the details of their meeting were supposed to remain secret, the music producer Mix Master Garzy seems to have let the cat out of the bag.
Shortly after the meeting, Stonebwoy shared pictures of their meeting with the subtitle: "… and the Gargamel Said !! @BujuOfficial ", the music producer's response gave the world a scoop on what was going on between them.
"Can not download his [Buju Banton] voice that you sent. Thank you to check and send again thank you !!
"@Mastergarzy will send back" Stonebwoy replied to Mix Master Garzy.
The title and the release date of the song are however unknown.
Stonebwoy has worked in recent years with major international stars such as Morgan Heritage, Sean Paul and Beenie Man.
Known for several hit songs, including "Destiny," Buju Banton is one of Jamaica's most important and respected artists and reggae music.
Born Mark Anthony Myrie, he was released from prison in December 2018 after serving seven years of ten years' imprisonment.
Stonebwoy is currently participating in the "Shuga Sumer Tour" which will see him perform in several European countries such as Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom.
