Modern Afghana Sports can confirm that Grace Asantewaa, the midfielder offensive of the Black Stars and Ampem Darkoa, has successfully completed its transition to the Spanish club EDF Logroño.
The central midfielder has been working for two weeks with the club on a possible transfer before the start of the 2019/2020 season.
After signing an agreement, the Ghanaian international signed for the club after pbading a mandatory medical examination.
This move will allow former Ampem Darkoa star to play for the first time in Europe.
In addition to making six appearances with the Black Queens and scoring two goals, Grace Asantewaa also represented Ghana in the FIFA Under-17 and Under-20 World Cup tournaments.
She was nominated for the best football player of the year at the 2019 Ghana Football Awards, but narrowly missed out on Mukarama Abdulai.
She now hopes to have a positive impact with her new team when she starts the coming season with EDF Logroño.
