Ledzokuku MP Dr Bernard Okoe-Boye visited former President of Ghana John Agyekum Kufuor after losing his seat.
Announcing his visit to the former president in a Facebook post, Dr Okoe-Boye said it was a waking experience given the storm he has been through at the hands of his constituents.
He said: “The awakening you feel when you have the opportunity to meet a giant a few weeks after you’ve weathered the storm. Thank you HE JAK for the advice and compliments. The impact of yesterday’s meeting will be with me endlessly. His grace is always sufficient.
The parliamentary candidate of the National Democratic Congress for the constituency of Ledzokuku, Benjamin Ayiku Narteh, dethroned the outgoing Dr. Okoe Boye of the New Patriotic Party by a margin of 1,866 votes.
