Ghana Police Service said it had obtained a restraining order against NDC protests in the capital, Accra.
The Ghana Police Service, in a statement, explains in a statement a secure no-contact order that prohibits the NDC from demonstrating from December 20, 2020 to January 10, 2021.
Accra Regional Police spokesperson ASP Afia Tenge for a press release inside the speech said the court granted dema’s request to ban all protests in Accra by the opposition NDC.
The NDC opposition is staging a series of protests across the country for reasons of disagreement and the results of the 2020 elections.
NDC Deputy Secretary General Peter Otokunor said Ghanaians were right to protest, so Ghana Police Service has no right to arrest them.
