Millions more people in the east and south-east of England
must enter level four on Boxing Day, the Health Secretary said. Places that fall under the highest level of restrictions – which include a “stay at home” order – border areas already at level four. A number of regions in England will also move up to levels three and two. Matt Hancock said the old prioritization system was not enough to control the new variant of the virus.
