EC never fakes, the defeated parties only cry scandal for a lost investment – Captain Smart

Renowned radio personality Captain Smart says defeated political parties are only saddened by their loss in the 2020 election.

According to him, the Election Commission never cheated or stole the NPP verdict in the elections which have just ended.

Captain Smart who spoke to Zionfelix in an interview said there has never been an election in Ghana that has been rigged, but political parties that are grieved by their loss are creating the perception in their minds as they mourn their loss.

“There has never been a case of ballot theft in Ghana. If there was any form of rigging in our election, someone should show it to me. When you lose an election, it hurts. It’s like losing your girlfriend, so if you spend a huge amount of money and lose, you are confused and think you have been robbed.

He said that the claims that the EC had made miscalculations were unfounded, indicating that what really happened was that the Commission had instead highlighted the figures it had taken from the bio-metric machine and not the valid votes cast on the same day.
