The Justice League Snyder Cut hits HBO Max in March, and Zack Snyder released a new image of Wonder Woman from a scene not shown in theaters.
A new image of Wonder Woman from a scene in the Justice League Snyder Cut hit social media thanks to Zack Snyder himself. When it first theatrically released in November 2017, Justice League was not the movie Snyder had originally planned, having undergone major reshoots after his departure. After a historic push by fans to see Snyder’s original cut from the movie released to the world, the Snyder Cut is finally set to arrive on HBO Max next March.
The official trailer for the film came out in August during DC FanDome and solidified what was already a very clear distinction between the two versions. With the release of Snyder Cut just a few months away, fans can expect the marketing to start to shift into high gear very soon. However, with the home stretch of Snyder Cut in sight, New Years Eve brought a bit of teasing.

SnyderThe new image, posted on Twitter, shows Gal Gadot as Diana outside of some sort of stone structure. Judging by Diana’s outfit in the image, it could be related to the scene in the movie where she discovers a mural of Darkseid. Snyder captioned the image “Prepare for 2021.“
This isn’t the only new Wonder Woman image to arrive online in time for New Years Eve, Snyder Cut attorney Fiona Zheng also posting a showing Diana fighting Steppenwolf. The two images also arrived as the hashtag #RestoreTheSnyderVerse was trending on Twitter. This refers to the five-movie arc originally planned by Snyder, which was canceled after his departure and re-filming of Justice League.
After theatrical release Justice League, Snyder heavily teased his version of the film with social media footage, mostly black and white. It gradually pulled the curtain back on how Snyder’s little cut looked like the theatrical version. Wonder Woman has been at the center of some of Snyder’s main teases, including the reveal that she beheaded Steppenwolf in the decisive battle.
With the release of Snyder Cut getting closer and closer, the anticipation is through the roof, and many fans clearly have their fingers crossed that it may lead to the relaunch of Snyder DCEU’s unrealized story. Only time will tell if these hopes come true. However, with the Justice League Snyder Cut is finally on the way, DC fans are going to have a wild ride in 2021.
