The Accra 4 Circuit Court has for the second time this week adjourned to January 5, 2021 the case of the alleged shooting by a national security agent at the Ablekuma central recollection center during the general elections that have just come. end.

The prosecutor in charge of the case, Inspector Eric Pobee, spoke to the media about the events that unfolded in court.
“When the case was adjourned to 29e December, unfortunately, the judge was not present. So the case was adjourned until today [December 31, 2020]. Today when we came we were told that the judge was indisposed, so the court adjourned him to January 5, 2021. We hope that on that day we will all come and then we will see the way forward. .
The suspect is in custody. He has been taken into custody and he is complying with the conditions. The case is now here [Accra Circuit Court 4] so we have just started the case. We haven’t even gotten into the business; we haven’t started the trial. It’s normal. If that hadn’t been the judge’s condition, we should have made progress, but I hope I know God willing things will be all right.
The case will now be heard on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
While the victim, Pius Asiedu Kwanin, is discharged from the hospital, he is expected to return for a medical examination on January 5, 2021.
