A father of five fled after his wife delivered a series of quadruplets on Saturday (January 2) to Benin, the capital of Edo state.

The disclosure was made by a Facebook user identified as Sarah Az Izevbigie. According to the woman, the new mother, Rita Ndibisu, needs help from Nigerians to take care of her babies.

She called on well-meaning Nigerians to help Rita and her children as she shared her account details.

“She needs help and help from me and all well-meaning Nigerians. Diapers, baby food, baby clothes, wipes, money will be much appreciated as her hospital bill has not yet been paid.

Meanwhile, Peter Ejiofor, deputy editor of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), and his wife Anastasia, have asked for help from their compatriots to take care of their quadruplets who recently totaled three years.

Ejiofor, who is set to retire in 2021, said taking care of the children hasn’t been easy, but friends and family have helped.

According to him, the quadruplets arrived seven years after the wedding. Ejiofor described their birth as a miracle.
