Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is in isolation and awaits a PCR test result after a member of his entourage tests positive for COVID-19, the La Liga club have confirmed to ESPN FC.
Zidane underwent an antigen test Thursday morning which came back negative.
The Frenchman missed Thursday’s training session while awaiting the result of his PCR test.
Even if Zidane’s latest test is negative, La Liga will have the final say on whether the manager travels to Pamplona for Saturday’s league game at Osasuna.
According to La Liga protocol, Zidane must undergo an additional negative test before he can join the squad.
