Marvel recently confirmed that Guardians Of The Galaxy star Chris Pratt will reprise his role as Peter Quill aka Star-Lord in the new Thor: Love and Thunder movie.
And on Friday morning, the 41-year-old actor touched down in Australia via a private jet from Los Angeles alongside his co-stars, as they prepare to shoot the new movie Down Under in the coming weeks.
Chris, Dave Bautista and Karen Gillan – were pictured shortly after landing at Sydney Airport, before the group headed for a mandatory 14-day quarantine at a hotel amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
He is back! Chris Pratt, 41, officially landed in Australia with his co-stars on Friday as they prepared to film Thor’s new film alongside Byron Bay native Chris Hemsworth.
Chris cut a relaxed figure as he got off the plane with his entourage.
Despite wearing a face shield and oversized sunglasses on his face, the Jurassic World actor was easily recognizable by his hunky stature and confident bravado as he made his way to the hotel.
He wore a black sweater and slacks for the occasion, and kept things casual with a pair of Adidas sneakers and a baseball cap.
Scottish actress Karen Gillan, who starred in Jumanji and Avengers: Endgame, was also spotted getting off the plane on Friday.

Chris’s Guardians of the Galaxy co-star looked comfy in a pair of gray joggers, a striped t-shirt, and a denim jacket – which featured a huge emblazoned lion on the back.
The 33-year-old, who will play the role of Nebula in the new film, paired her look with a cool beanie over her luscious raven locks and accessorized with an oversized Louis Vuitton handbag.
Dave Bautista, who will play Drax the Destroyer, was not far behind the pair.
Despite a long flight, the 51-year-old looked effortlessly cool in a leather jacket and dark denim jeans, which he paired with a pair of buckled boots.

A day before their arrival, Chris had blurted out that he was starring in Thor alongside Byron Bay-based Chris Hemsworth during an interview with actor Tom Holland on live Instagram.
“ I am delighted to be going to a country that has taken the lockdown very seriously and eradicated the disease and is now completely back to normal, ” he said of his next trip.
“It will be so good there and to go love a restaurant,” he continued.
A surprised Tom, 24, replied: ‘Wait a minute, did you just say you’re going to be in Thor? It is so crazy.

On the Thor front, Love And Thunder is the sequel to the series’ massively successful third installment in 2017, titled Thor: Ragnarok.
Like this movie, Thor’s fourth film will be directed by Taika Waititi and star Chris Hemsworth.

Notably, Love And Thunder will once again welcome Oscar winner Natalie Portman to the franchise, who last played her role as Jane Foster in the less successful second chapter of Thor in 2013, titled Thor: The Dark World.
And in the new movie, she is said to take on the role of Thor, becoming the first actress to do so.
Another Oscar winner set to appear in Love And Thunder is Christian Bale, who is said to have played a yet-undisclosed villainous role.
Thor: Love And Thunder is currently slated for release in February 2022.
