Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light for DS release date

The end of May saw Nintendo DS owners rise in anticipation as Square Enix revealed that Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of the Light would be released by fall this year. This particular title is an RPG developed by Matrix Software. The company has now disclosed the exact release date for Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of the Light.

The DS title boasts of vibrant book visuals as well as an easy to control combat system. The story sees four brave young people go through an incredible adventure filled with dragons, princesses, kings and witches. Integrated with a classic turn-based combat system, players can set their own combat commands which can be executed via the DS touchscreen controls.

Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light continues this famous tradition, with an adventure that offers incredible ease of play and a magnificent art style that should prove to be extremely popular with fans. “

Four players can indulge in the game together while the “Crown System” feature allows players to switch between different character classes. The game includes over 20 jobs like Ranger, White Mage, Black Mage, among others.

On his fourteenth birthday, Brandt heads to the king to find chaos strewn across the castle. The youngest princess has been kidnapped by the Witch of the North. Brandt is now tasked with the mission of saving the princess and thus embarks on his adventure where he later meets and teams up with three young heroes.

Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light for DS will hit store shelves in Europe and other PAL territories on October 8, 2010. The exact pricing details are still a bit unclear at this point, however.
