Marcus Rashford has sent a welcome message to new Manchester United signing Amad Diallo.
The 18-year-old completed his long-awaited move to Old Trafford on Thursday, after United signed a £ 37million deal with Atalanta on deadline day last October.
The Red Devils had to wait for Diallo to secure a work permit for his move, as well as pass a medical exam and agree to personal terms.
But final details of the deal were reached earlier this week and the Ivorian winger is set to travel to Manchester, where he will inherit the No.19 United shirt last worn by Rashford.
The England star donned No.19 for two seasons before moving up to No.10 – and he hopes Diallo can match his meteoric rise from youth squad to first team.
Diallo tagged Rashford in the Instagram post that revealed his team number, prompting his new teammate to reply, “Hope this brings you a lot of luck bro. See you soon x.”

Diallo insisted he was ready for anything new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer asked of him as he spoke of his joy in sealing his transfer.
He told the official Manchester United website: “After waiting since the summer, it’s finally a dream come true to complete my move to Manchester United.
“I am extremely ambitious and there is so much I want to accomplish in the game; when i spoke to the manager i knew i had joined the perfect club.
“It’s a really exciting team with so many great players, I can promise I’ll work hard every day to learn from them and give my all to develop my game.
“The coaches have been fantastic since I signed, we’ve been in contact regularly and they’ve given me a lot of great advice already.
“I had time to prepare for this move, both physically and mentally, and I worked really hard to be ready to take the step at this incredible club.
