President Akufo-Addo urged Christians to continue supporting his administration for the achievement of the nation’s development aspirations.

“My vision is to lead the country towards sustainable development and growth for the benefit and well-being of its citizens,” he noted, promising that his second term would see huge changes in the lives of the people. .

President Nana Akufo-Addo, speaking at St. Cyprian Anglican Cathedral in Kumasi, where he attended a thanksgiving service, thanked the church and Christians in general for voting for give him the sign to lead the country for a second term. .

He was also grateful for their prayers of intercession which resulted in a peaceful general election on December 7.

The President prayed for strength and wisdom as well as courage to lead the country successfully.

The Right Reverend Professor Daniel Yinkah-Sarfo, Primate and Metropolitan Archbishop of the Anglican Province of West Africa and the Inner Province of Ghana, congratulated the president on his re-election in recent polls.

He assured that the Church would not back down by praying for the development, peace and unity of the country.
