Artist Lawrence Nana’s manager Asiamah Hanson, known as The Bulldog, has reportedly been arrested by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB).
Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) President Rex Omar confirmed the news in an interview with Okay FM.
He said he spoke to sources close to Bulldog’s lawyer who claimed he was arrested by men from Jubilee House and sent to NIB cells.
However, the reason for his arrest was not disclosed, Rex Omar added.
Rex Omar said his team is following up on the arrest and will update Ghanaians with what he finds.
Meanwhile, some people have linked Bulldog’s arrest to the threats he made on live television against President Akufo-Addo.
He said on UTV’s United Showbiz that the president would not complete his second term if he did not pay the stranded funds of Menzgold clients.
Although Bulldog retracted his statement, he said his comments did not mean he was going to shoot or kill the President.
