50 Cent is known for its sometimes shocking and dubious social media presence.
But after images of the January 6 riot by violent Trump supporters in the U.S. Capitol went viral, the rapper decided to intervene.
This resulted in her post being censored on Black Lives Matter by Instagram.
50 shared a photo many posted showing the National Guard blocking Black Lives Matter protesters last June.
The post underscores how prepared the National Guard was for the peaceful Black Lives Matter protests, but armed rioters and zip lines were able to easily storm the Capitol last week.

50 then posted a photo of the blurry, censored image, writing, “So the IG God doesn’t like my BLM post. 🤷🏽♂️ I don’t know why this was against the rules.
The post was temporarily censored due to “missing context,” according to Instagram.
According to USA Today, this photo, which is from a June 2 protest, was reported because it was not at the United States Capitol, but at the Lincoln Memorial.
However, the message of the post remains the same, the police did not properly prepare for the violent rioters on the Capitol because they were predominantly white.
