GOOD MORNING UTD FANS
The Red Devils rose to the top of the Premier League and edged rivals Liverpool with a narrow 1-0 victory over Burnley.
Still, man of the match Paul Pogba insisted United remain anchored.
He told Sky Sports: “Today’s game was very difficult.
“We know it’s not easy to play here, but we got all three points and we’re very happy.
“There is still a long way to go, so we have to focus again, and until the end of the season.”
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer added: “When you get three points in the Premier League it makes you smile. It was a tough three point fight. He’s still here.
“Liverpool have had an incredible three and a half seasons, but we couldn’t ask for a better time to play them.
“We are in good shape and we are hungry.”
Meanwhile, on the transfer front, Borussia Dortmund have been linked with another player designated to ‘replace’ Jadon Sancho.
United are expected to rekindle their interest in the winger next summer and the Germans have a plan if the deal goes through.
According to France Football, Tanguy Coulibaly is their favorite alternative.
The 19-year-old winger broke into the Stuttgart squad and is highly rated in Germany.
And finally, United are said to be in talks with 17-year-old Rapid Vienna starlet Yusuf Demir as they aim to beat Real Madrid on signing.
The teenage midfielder broke into the Austrian squad’s first team, scoring four goals and adding two assists in 17 senior appearances this season – drawing the attention of European greats.
And United are said to be the club most interested in Los Blancos in the frame as well, according to Defensa Central.
The report says United have yet to make a formal offer but have entered into negotiations with the player’s representatives.
