All the ideas received during the PanelPicker® The registration period has been posted for community voting from November 10-20, 2020. The SXSW community was able to review, comment and vote to help shape SXSW programming for 2021 SXSW Online, an experience of SXSW Online. digital event from March 16 to 20, 2021.
Community votes represent 30% of the final decision plus input from SXSW staff (30%) and advisory board (40%). Together, these percentages helped determine the final content range for the 2021 SXSW Online session list hosted by PanelPicker for the conference.
For 2021, seven conference themes will highlight the event – A new emergency; Challenging the way forward for technology; Cultural resilience in the arts; The rebirth of business; Transform the entertainment landscape; Connection in disconnection; and an unknown future.
