The chief justice, according to the statement, has taken steps to enlist the help of the deputy for Asawase in establishing the facts so that the case can be dealt with in a proper manner.

The statement further clarifies that the public will be informed of any further development on the matter in due course.

Mohammed Muntaka in an interview with Joy News on Sunday January 10 this year alleged that a Supreme Court judge summoned an elected NDC MP and persuaded her to vote against the NDC candidate for president of the 8th legislature.

“Shamefully, a Supreme Court judge calls a colleague, telling her what they are going to give her. She has children, they will help her take care of her children. She can take fuel at a gas station for four years, ”Muntaka said.
