Recent from Marvel Star wars history found the rebels in a state of disarray after The Empire Strikes Back. Although Lando Calrissian has joined their ranks, they are strapped for numbers as they try to find ways to survive the Imperials on their hunt and formulate a plot to save Han Solo. Leia is out of breath, exhausting all options, but it’s so much more difficult that the Empire has broken their codes and intercepted transmissions.
Sadly, while Number 10 appears to have solved this communication glitch by using Leia’s most important droid, he inadvertently creates a civil war as emotions spill over.

Leia asked Kes Dameron to steal a Talky droid with Lando and Co. so that they could use it to generate unbreakable codes in the old Trawak language. Kes lost his friend, Needle, during the mission, so he desperately needs it to work, although at first the droid doesn’t. Fortunately, they find that once it is connected to the hybrid, Lobot, it can generate the necessary messages. But this victory is short-lived as Lando discovers that the longer the droid is connected to Lobot, the faster Lobot will die. Right now he has about five hours of life left, but Leia needs him to keep running codes. It’s because Starlight Squadron is out there, stranded in space after entering an ambush. They were supposed to encounter a rebel fleet, but the Empire got there first, leaving debris and debris in space, and now the X-Wings are on the run, flying blind.
They ejected their droids and detonated them, so in case they are captured, their data cannot be stolen. It’s a heroic sacrifice, but Leia knows that if they can send emergency protocols to Trawak’s aid, there is some semblance of hope that they can be saved by other ships. So when Lando insists on unplugging Lobot, he heats up because Kes shoots a gun at him. After all, Shara (Poe’s mother) is one of the squadron’s pilots, so Kes won’t let Lando ruin his chances of finding his true love again.
And it’s not just her – many other pilots need these codes ASAP, so Lando is committing betrayal in Kes’ eyes, which means he’ll have no problem taking down the ferryman. Seeing how Lando spoke to Leia as well, he didn’t like himself at all, giving the princess another headache that she could really do without. In the end, she will be in a difficult situation because she will have to choose. She knows Lobot is valuable because he can hack, but she can’t risk losing more talented pilots like Shara; not when Darth Vader and his minions attack them mercilessly.
