Bachelor Lauren Burnham jokes about rumors she split from husband Arie Luyendyk Jr … after announcing they were expecting twins
Former Bachelor candidate Lauren Burnham has opened up about false rumors that she has separated from her husband, Arie Luyendyk Jr.
On Friday, the 29-year-old reality TV personality posted an email from a post asking if the rumors that she and her 29-year-old husband had broken up were true.
Burnham took it in a good mood by posting a screenshot of the email and joking about spending very little time apart from her spouse, with whom she shares her one-year-old daughter, Alessi.

The email, sent to Burnham’s rep from TMZ, read: ‘We hear it and Arie have gone their separate ways. Hopefully that’s not true! But I wanted to ask for a statement just in case.
Burnham wrote in the caption: ‘I mean if you count the 3 hours we went our separate ways for him to ride off-road biking last weekend, yeah we’ went our separate ways.
The reality TV star continued to give further evidence regarding the state of her happy relationship with her husband by posting a video in her story featuring the couple’s daughter, Alessi.
Let it be known: The reality TV personality received an email from TMZ inquiring about the status of her relationship and let fans know she is still married to her husband with a message posted to her Instagram story.
Playtime: After confirming her marriage status, Burnham released a video of her daughter Alessi pretending to snore, which the happy mum hinted at as a trait her child had learned from her father.
In the video, the reality TV stars checked out their first child and asked her if she slept while their daughter pretended to snore.
The caption of the story read: ‘I wonder where she got that fake snore from,’ after which Burnham tagged her husband’s Instagram handle.
The confirmation of the couple’s relationship status comes just under a month after the couple posted a video to their shared YouTube channel where they announced they would be welcoming twins in the near future.
During the video, the couple spoke of their excitement before entering the ultrasound room and being told they would be expecting two children.
When she realized she was going to have a double birth, Burnham jokingly asked her husband, “Is this your fault?

Luyendyk Jr. then shared a snap containing photos of the ultrasound on his Instagram account.
The couple initially met during the 22nd season of The Bachelor, which aired in 2018; the now father was previously a contestant on the eighth season of the reality show.
The couple were the subject of a controversial end of season, as Luyendyk Jr had already proposed to candidate Becca Kufrin before canceling the pledge in favor of starting a relationship with Burnham, who was the finalist of this season.
The two were going to be married in January 2019 and then moved to Arizona to start a family together.
