The artist, real name Oscar Sibonginkosi Malongwa, dropped the music video for his hit Mali January 21.
Besides the vocals of Pearl Thusi and Nokwazi Dlamini, it also features an appearance by DJ Zinhle.
1980s THEME FOR THE VIDEO ‘UNE MALI’
Directed by Kyle White, the clip has a 1980s throwback theme of a former South African shebeen showing Nokwazi’s loud voice commanding a crowd. Viewers soon see DJ Zinhle wearing a 1980s black and white polka dot outfit, followed by Oskido dressed as a gangster entering the crowd.
Focalistic performs her verses while sitting at the bar and Thusi then makes her musical debut as she joins Nokwazi on stage to perform.

OSKIDO CREATES EXCITEMENT FOR LIBERATION
On January 14, Oskido posted three photos from the shoot to his Instagram account.
“I’ve been working on something amazing and can’t wait for you all to see it. Be on the lookout for #unemali, ”he says.
He also posted an excerpt from the video, asking his 539,000 subscribers what they thought. It received only positive feedback as fans waited for the release.
Earlier in the week of its release, it also posted a behind-the-scenes photo of DJ Zinhle.
After posting photos of Pearl Thusi in the video, fans speculated that she would be featured on vocals and Oskido quickly cleared it up:
“I see people wondering if @PearlThusi is on #Unemali. Yes, she is featured on the voice of the song alongside @nokwazidlams and @FOCALISTIC. “

A very excited Thusi took to Twitter to share the happy news with her 2.6 million followers. She also thanked Oskido for this opportunity.
