The management of the Ghana Institute has ordered all current students to resume online classes as of January 25, 2021.
The directive comes shortly after President Akufo-Addo paved the way for all schools to resume face-to-face teaching and learning after schools were closed for around ten months due to the outbreak of Covid-19 in the country.
Management in a statement explained that the directive is to ensure the safety of students while meeting the requirements of the time.
“As of January 25, 2021, conferences for students in training will be held online through the Institute’s Learning Management System (LMS),” the statement said.
“First-year students, including 300-level complementary level students, will move on to study online after the third week of face-to-face instruction starting February 1, 2021.
“Students are urged to adapt quickly to the new standard of online learning as we seek to keep them secure and meet the demands of the times,” the statement added.
