Taiwanese online gaming brand Gamania presents its new MMO which uses next-generation Unreal technology. Announced earlier at the Tokyo Game Show 2010, Core Blaze is created by RedGate Studio for Gamania and draws heavily on oriental myths with a graphic representation of highly fantastic elements.
Based on Epic Games ‘Unreal Engine 3, Core Blaze will feature real-time, physics-based combat and untargeted gameplay like Nexon Vindictus’ increasingly popular MMO. The game uses four major classes of weapons in the game namely the sword and shield, the big sword, the double blade and the longbow, each with its own unique look, functional characteristics and usability.
According to the game developers, Core Blaze will bring “ a new quest line and a new outcome ” each time depending on player level, weapons and several other factors, as well as freely customizable game settings and realistic weapon fights. In addition, there are many dynamics in the game such as geography, weapon alignment during combat, team compatibility, and the character’s own element will contribute to the overall player development in the game.
Core Blaze is reportedly currently in development and is expected to go gold by the second half of 2011.
